Engineering the Long Way Round
For Blacksheep Power, that story took eight years, four prototypes, and countless hours of testing to reach this point - a production-ready electric motorbike built from pure engineering innovation.
The road wasn’t smooth. Motor cracked. Parts burned out. Entire builds stalled. But each setback revealed what worked, what didn’t, and what would eventually become the Blacksheep Power DNA: power, precision, and visible engineering.
Prototype 1 - The First Spark (2017)
Status: Retired but lit the fuse.

Our first electric experiment. A simple frame and an idea - that electric could be engaging, not just efficient. It was rough, underpowered, and short-lived - but it started everything.
Prototype 2 - The Innocent Beast (2018-2019)
Status: Our first “real bike.”

The project that turned a garage hobby into a real engineering effort. Still raw, still rebellious, but built with purpose: to ride, to test, to prove that the idea was worth pursuing.
Prototype 3 - The Turning Point (2023–2024)
Status: The prototype that changed everything.

Where theory became system. This was the birth of BilletFlux™ - our patented motor concept that carves copper billets into electromagnetic paths instead of winding them into coils. It was the testbed that proved the idea worked and set the foundation for everything that followed.
Prototype 4 - The Blacksheep ONE (2025)
Status: Ready for Motorcycle Live 2025.

Built around the BilletFlux™ axial flux motor, a billet-aluminium frame, and refined through our BilletFlow™ cooling system and BilletPower™ control electronics, this prototype carries the full DNA of Blacksheep Power - raw, visible, and mechanical.
Every billet component was engineered to work as one system: copper for power, aluminium for structure, and flow for control. It’s the first production-ready prototype built not to prove an idea, but to deliver it.
Engineering, Evolved
From the first spark to a refined power system, every prototype added a layer of understanding - mechanical, electrical, and human. That’s why the Blacksheep ONE doesn’t just look different. It rides different.
